This is my last post in Baltimore for the summer so I thought I'd share some of our favorite things about this city. Mostly via iPhone pics.
Favorite food we had here:
(Obviously Cafe Rio would top my charts -- but we will go with unique to the area)
I know what you are thinking. Hotdogs? But seriously the hotdogs their were incredible and the best one was their
crab mac hotdog. It had maryland crab, macaroni and cheese, and a whole lot of old bay. If you don't know what
old bay is check it out here. It's pretty much a staple in these parts. They also have an all natural sparkling soda machine. Oh boy the black cherry was amazing. Jord and I each ate almost one hotdog and were full for the rest of the day.
Favorite area:
Canton. If we ever moved back to Baltimore. Let's say for like a residency or something. We would definitely live in Canton. It is where we feel most comfortable and where we spend most of our time. There is an awesome park where we liked to play catch and where we had several pool parties. It is also where Michael Phelps lives. Just a little fun fact. However just to put this out there -- we love DC more than anywhere in Baltimore. We would live there in a heartbeat.
Favorite date:
Orioles game. Again this is only in Baltimore and not DC. We had so much fun in DC that we have over shared. But I absolutely loved Camden Yards. The building you see above is the longest building in the United States. Sports is something that Baltimore takes very seriously. Right across the street from the Orioles field is the Ravens football field. Sports is also something Jordan and I take very serious. We love sports. We watch, we talk, we hypothesize, we analyze, and we even have cable for the sole purpose of watching sports and nothing else. Needless to say we had a great time.
Farewell Baltimore, I can't say that I'll miss you. But I can't say that I won't. At least being so close to DC anyway.
