One million bones on the National Mall for genocide. Very Cool.
Look at that phoneography stance.
We traveled down to DC this weekend from Baltimore and boy was it a good time.
It was tons of fun seeing some of the sites and exhibits that I have missed in the past and since Jordan had never been to DC we had a lot of fun just walking aimlessly around. When we got back to the car at the end of the day we realized there was still so much we wanted to see. Needless to say, we already have another trip down in the works. Especially since we found out we have a lot of friends who are in town for the summer who are in the area.
The best part of the day was spending time together because Jord is gone all day at work during the week. This is something I'm not really used to. When we are back home in Charleston the college classes I teach are usually an hour or two in class lectures/lab and the rest of the time is spent working from home. His school schedule is very sporadic as well so we often get to eat lunch together or spend the afternoon at home.
I definitely think I chose the wrong shoes for the trip because I have a ridiculous amount of blisters on my feet from how much we walked. I will spare you the pictures of those but lets just say my feet haven't hurt or looked this bad since I was in dance rehearsals everyday.
But blisters aside, we are in love with The District as the locals call it. There were times when I caught myself thinking we could totally live here and I was stunned when those words came out of Jordan's mouth.
I'm turning my husband into a city boy as hard and as fast as I can.
